Narrative:
All indications normal for take off. We were cleared for take off; on roll approximately 85 KTS; we had engine tla not toga caution message on EICAS. We aborted the takeoff. We did not need assistance from ATC but they were duly notified. We ran QRH; called maintenance and since the message had cleared we were ok for normal operations and were signed off. We continued the flight without further maintenance issues.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: An EMB170 EICAS alerted ENG TLA NOT TOGA during the takeoff roll. The crew rejected the takeoff and subsequently the EICAS alert cleared itself so the crew departed.
