Narrative:
During the climb out we encountered a red left main gear light with gear handle up and an auto-spoiler fail annunciation. We performed the eqrh checklist procedures and the lights remained on. We called dispatch and talked to maintenance. We diverted to nearest suitable airport with no further incident.
