Narrative:

At start of takeoff on the runway plane veered to the right into the median/dirt about 25 ft. No damage was done. Winds were from 360 degrees at 10 mph. It was a direct crosswind from the right side. During preflight; I deliberately thought and planned if the fight should occur. There was no issue when taxiing the plane. On takeoff roll the plane veered right off the runway into the dirt median. Unable to straighten the plane; I shutoff the engine and fuel and stopped about 25 ft into the median. [I] contacted tower; who sent an airport staff person who assisted me in pushing the plane back to the hangar.
