Narrative:
The plane had flaps half speed MEL. We got flaps fail caution message during our climb out. First officer was selecting the flaps from eight degrees to zero degrees. We were doing the QRH for flaps fail while ATC was vectoring us for ILS. The caution message disappeared and we decided to operate the flaps. Since the flaps seemed to operate properly; we landed with full flaps. We decided to proceed with our arrival since we now had multiple problems with the flaps.
