Narrative:
The ramp crew reported that a company B757-200 had one broken tie bolt on the # 3 rear medium large transport (main landing gear) wheel near the valve stem. Tire and wheel assembly were replaced per (maintenance manual) MM 32-45-01. No departure delay was incurred. I have noticed a trend in broken tie bolts lately on the A320 and B757 fleets. Broken bolt will be saved for [investigation].
