Narrative:
On approach to sna and descending to 5000 ft; sct asked if we were going to slow to 200 KTS below lax class B airspace. We stated that we were; and asked if there was a problem. They stated that there wasn't one; but that many aircraft had missed the restriction. No fault was noted by us or ATC.

Title: B737 First Officer arriving SNA reports being queried by SCT as to whether they will be slowing to 200 KTS prior to descending beneath the LAX Class B. An affirmative response was transmitted.
Narrative: On approach to SNA and descending to 5000 FT; SCT asked if we were going to slow to 200 KTS below LAX Class B airspace. We stated that we were; and asked if there was a problem. They stated that there wasn't one; but that many aircraft had missed the restriction. No fault was noted by us or ATC.
