Narrative:
While on approach into jfk; at approximately 3;000 ft just west of the airport; the right side of the airplane was illuminated by a laser 3-5 times. The light was green and lasted briefly each time it hit the airplane. Notified ATC and since then I have spoken with the fbi and answered their questions. No injuries or disruption of flight occurred because of the laser and the landing was normal.
