Narrative:
[An air carrier] 737 failed to clear the runway and tower instructed us to go around. When I pushed the throttles up the left generator drive failed with associated EICAS. I started the APU as we climbed out. On downwind leg we ran the irregular procedure and disconnected the drive. We then did a normal landing a few minutes later and contacted naintenance on the taxi-in.

Title: While executing a go-around because of an aircraft on the runway; a B757 Captain reported losing the left generator drive. The APU was started; they ran the procedure; and a normal landing followed.
