We descended from FL340 to FL240 and contacted dispatch. We both decided to make a precautionary landing. All engine parameters were normal and we did not declare an emergency. [The] airport did decide to have emergency equipment standing by on the ground. The descent and approach were followed with normal procedures. Maintenance met the airplane at the gate where they changed the right engine filter. After this was completed we continued to [destination].
