Narrative:
Cockpit excessively noisy from airflow/packs. Pilot on oxygen could not hear cockpit speaker with mask on while other pilot out of the cockpit to use lavatory. Cockpit decibel level is so high that it is difficult to hear checklist responses and ATC radio calls even when using headset. Using the cockpit speaker is not an option.the company has failed to provide adequate resources to fix the 757 cockpit noise issue. They must admit that there is still a cockpit noise issue on certain 757's and commit to effective repairs/solutions. As an interim measure equip the aircraft with noise reduction headsets.
