Narrative:
While on downwind for runway 19 I observed an small aircraft Y enter a downwind outside of DME and slightly ahead. I realized that he did not see me so I adjusted my pattern to go behind him and extended my downwind to take spacing on him. When I turned final the small aircraft Y was on very short final and the spacing looked good. When the small aircraft Y landed it decelerated faster that I expected and appeared to stop on the right side of the runway at about 1/3 of the length of the runway. At about 50' in the air I initiated a go around, but as I increased throttle my engine started to run rough so I closed the throttle and landed on the left side of the runway. On landing roll I passed the small aircraft Y on his left. I believe this incident happened because I misjudged the time it would take for the slower aircraft to reach the turn off at midfield and did not allow enough spacing. An earlier go around would have allowed a smoother application of power and a normal go around.

Title: GA SMA ATTEMPTED GO AROUND WHEN REALIZED PRECEDING GA SMA Y WAS NOT CLEARING RWY BUT DUE ROUGH ENGINE ABORTED GO AROUND AND LANDED AND ROLLED PAST SMA Y STILL ON RWY.
Narrative: WHILE ON DOWNWIND FOR RWY 19 I OBSERVED AN SMA Y ENTER A DOWNWIND OUTSIDE OF DME AND SLIGHTLY AHEAD. I REALIZED THAT HE DID NOT SEE ME SO I ADJUSTED MY PATTERN TO GO BEHIND HIM AND EXTENDED MY DOWNWIND TO TAKE SPACING ON HIM. ON LNDG ROLL I PASSED THE SMA Y ON HIS LEFT. I BELIEVE THIS INCIDENT HAPPENED BECAUSE I MISJUDGED THE TIME IT WOULD TAKE FOR THE SLOWER ACFT TO REACH THE TURN OFF AT MIDFIELD AND DID NOT ALLOW ENOUGH SPACING. AN EARLIER GO AROUND WOULD HAVE ALLOWED A SMOOTHER APPLICATION OF PWR AND A NORMAL GO AROUND.
