Narrative:

Taking off into a bright evening setting sun; passing approximately 70-80 KTS I noticed the first officer's airspeed indicator was not working. I then elected to abort our takeoff; maximum speed obtained 90 KTS; first officer advised the tower of our aborted takeoff and of our situation. No emergency assistance was required. Not having applied rejected takeoff braking and at our light weight; brake cooling was not a factor.a PA announcement was made to the cabin to remain seated as the aircraft was going to return to the gate. This particular aircraft was just released from maintenance prior to our flight for work on the first officer's airspeed indicator. Normal taxi in and shutdown were completed and maintenance debriefing were accomplished. Duty flight manager was also debriefed.
