Narrative:
We were cleared for takeoff on runway 9L. At approximately 125 KTS; the tower instructed us that takeoff clearance was canceled. We aborted the take off and taxied off the runway. We then ran the appropriate checklist and sat for about one hour for brake cooling requirements. I then asked the tower why we were instructed to do a high speed abort. They replied that there was a conflict with traffic that was attempting to land on runway 35 and subsequently was going around.
