Narrative:
I was flying the ruudy two departure out of teb; I misread the SID. I thought you had to be at or above 1;500 feet at wentz. At wentz I was at 1;750 feet when the controller called us and advised us that we should have been at 1;500 feet. I started down when the controller told us to climb to 2;000 feet. There was not a conflict with another aircraft. The lesson learned is to put the first passing altitude in the altitude selector.
