Narrative:

During flight; after our service; we opened the cockpit door to give the pilots some food; and when they unlocked and opened the door; it fell off. The first officer came out and tried to fix it; but it couldn't be fixed. There were only about 26 people on our plane; and only 4 in first class; so we secured the door in row 20 and didn't let anyone use the forward lavatory or come forward of row 4. We also told the first class passengers they had to use the aft lavatory if they needed to use the restroom. The pilots contacted the company and they said to continue the flight and the pilots put the extra jumpseat out as a barrier. We also made sure one of us was in the front of the plane at all times for the duration of the flight. The rest of the flight went normally.
