Narrative:
While at cruise captain's pfd; nd; lower and upper ECAM screens went blank for 3-5 seconds. Ess a/C feed switch showed fault briefly but extinguished after a few seconds. Then screens recovered. Note this this sequence occurred 4-5 times within the next 30 minutes before landing. ECAM; once screens recovered; showed hydraulic blue system lo pressure. The blue pump switch showed a fault. ECAM directed to PNF to turn off blue pump. ECAM also directed; among other things; to turn off right no 1 fuel pump; avionics cooling blower fan; and directed dmc to be selected to captain. ECAM also directed to apply landing distance penalties and procedures. The status page told us the following were inoperative: NWS; blue hydraulic sys; spoiler 3; yaw damper; cat 3; rt fuel pump no 1; flaps/slats slow to extend; apply landing procedures; etc. While performing ECAM and analysis; we turned direct destination and declared an emergency.
