Narrative:

The captain called for the gear down flaps 30 landing check to the line. I completed the flow for the checklist. I pulled out my checklist while waiting for the gear down indication. We got the left main and nose gear down and green; the right main was still showing the amber cross hatch in transit for a few seconds. We then got the triple chime; gear disagree EICAS message and aural warning. We complied with the QRH and contacted dispatch and maintenance. The right main landing gear failed to extend. We decided to divert to ZZZ and declare an emergency. We landed and evacuated the aircraft through the main passenger door.
