Narrative:

The GPS 12 and GPS 01 into valparaiso (vps) show an error within the FMS. The intermediate fix (if) is displayed and flown as a flyover waypoint. It is not depicted that way on the chart procedures. For example; when flying the GPS 12 with the waypoints of hiltn (IAF) - rubbn (if) - suave (FAF); the rubbn waypoint will be over flown first before turning to the 120 degree inbound course. The chart procedures dictate that the turn from the 210 degree course to the 120 degree course prior to rubbn should lead the turn for a smooth transition instead of flying over rubbn first for a re-intercept from the south. This error is only present at vps.

Title: CRJ200 Captain reports that the FMS does not correctly fly two VPS GPS approaches (Runway 01 and 12) treating the intermediate approach fixes as 'fly over' instead of 'fly by.'

Narrative: The GPS 12 and GPS 01 into Valparaiso (VPS) show an error within the FMS.
