Narrative:
Taxied across hold short line for runway 10C in pit. We immediately communicated with tower and they gave us a line up and wait clearance on runway 10C. There was poor runway and taxiway marking.

Title: An Air Carrier crew experienced a runway incursion as they crossed the PIT Runway 10C hold short line at Taxiway W and immediately notified ATC when they realized the error. Poor runway markings were cited as contributing to the human error.
Narrative: Taxied across hold short line for Runway 10C in PIT. We immediately communicated with Tower and they gave us a line up and wait clearance on Runway 10C. There was poor runway and taxiway marking.
