Narrative:
Departed vgt runway 30L on an IFR flight plan after being assigned northtown two departure. I was using wing X pro on an ipad for chart reference and inadvertently loaded the boulder city one departure. At 4000 msl during the climb and before reaching the las R-300; 9-DME; approach asked me if I was sure I was on the northtown two departure and said 'yes getting ready to turn left now' (this was correct for the boulder city one but not for the northtown two). Approach replied 'that is not the right procedure; turn left to 090 and climb to 5000 msl'. A short time after that approach called and said 'advise ready to copy' and 'possible pilot deviation; call when you land'. After landing I called and the ATC supervisor asked for my information and local FSDO would contact me.
