Narrative:

After takeoff; just as we were being handed off to departure control; smoke began entering the cabin and; to a lesser degree; the cockpit. An emergency was declared and we were vectored back to land (overweight landing of approximately 132.0). We accomplished the appropriate smoke and fumes checklists and landed uneventfully. The smoke had almost completely dissipated by the time we landed. Crash fire rescue equipment vehicles looked us over and followed us to the gate. All passengers and crew disembarked uneventfully.
