Narrative:
During an enroute climb we received a right engine hydraulic pump ovht EICAS message. We followed the irregular procedure and shut the engine driven hydraulic pump off. The warning light went off after 10 minutes cooling. Concern now was with ETOPS and continuing. We contacted maintenance control and dispatch to discuss continuation. Approximately 20 minutes later we received the rt hydraulic qty EICAS message with quantity loss to RF.04. We accomplished the flight manual procedures. We then advised dispatch of the need to divert to ZZZ. We landed 2;000 pounds over malw (maximum allowable landing weight) after descending to burn fuel. No emergency was declared. All checklists were completed according to book procedures.

Title: A B767-300 diverted to a domestic airport when the right engine driven hydraulic pump overheated and the system hydraulic quantity dropped well below the refill level.
