Narrative:
After de-icing we taxied to runway 23 at cyyz. While on taxi we were looking at our charts to assure we were stopping at the correct hold short line for runway 23. I looked up from my chart and noticed the hold short line for 23 approaching. I stepped on the brakes and alerted the captain. We were unable to stop in time and crossed the hold short line by about 15 ft.the area is confusing on the commercial airport chart. The taxiway changes names close to the runway and the hold short line is not as close to the runway as most. Therefore; we did not think we were close to the hold short line. We were both distracted looking at the airport chart to make sure we were where we were supposed to be and did not see the hold short line approaching. We had briefed the taxi route several times because our instructions kept changing due to de-icing and departure delays from ATC.
