Narrative:

I was clearing the aircraft for nose gear strut service. After walking around the aircraft calling out [that] the nose was going up; I did not see any stands or ladders in the way. I then went back to the nose and started jacking the aircraft nose. When the nose gear was almost off the ground; people started yelling to stop. At that time I stopped jacking and lowered the nose. Apparently; there was a ladder under the fuselage by the aft pressure bulkhead access door. The fuselage hit the ladder causing damage to the skin and a stringer.
