Narrative:

Shortly after takeoff the pilot in command noticed a slippage in the control pressure when a left roll was inputted on the yoke. After 15 degrees of yoke travel; control pressure released and then caught with continued input. Control pressure beyond that point was normal. This discrepancy occurred from both yokes. This airplane was operated by the same crew for the preceding eight days with no such discrepancy noted. The crew diverted back to the departure airport for a precautionary landing. No emergency was declared as the aircraft was still under positive control.
