Narrative:
On taxiway cn at den we were instructed to taxi to 17R via M. Captain inadvertently turned onto left. Ground queried us and re-issued the taxi instructions to utilize taxiway left. As first officer and pilot not flying I did not insure that the taxi instructions were verbalized. I also was distracted getting new ATIS due to our close proximity to 17R our take off runway. [We] must verbalize taxi instructions. Pilot not flying must insist that this is accomplished and work to not become distracted by other duties even if takeoff must be delayed.
