Narrative:
As we were starting our climb out; a loud wind noise started coming from the forward-entry door. As we got higher; the noise got louder. I called the flight deck and explained what was going on. They checked the cabin pressure and advised that it was showing okay. We waited a few more minutes to see if the noise would stop once we leveled off. When it did not; I again called the flight deck. They again checked and advised there was no drop in cabin pressure. I was asked if I would be okay to continue; and I said yes thinking the noise was confined to the galley area. Upon starting the service; I noticed passengers up to the overwing area with their hands over their ears. At that point; I called the flight deck and informed them that I felt we needed to divert since the noise was affecting the passengers.
