Narrative:
Upon descent my flight attendant jump seat jammed not allowing me to buckle up for landing. It was a bit turbulent coming in. Therefore; I felt as though it would be safer to stay in my seat with the straps on my shoulders than to get up and head back to the flight attendant 'C' jump seat at that time. After landing I informed my pilots who then wrote up the seat belt with maintenance. This was a safety issue due to a seat belt malfunction.
