Narrative:
On short final configured for landing got gear door EICAS message followed by numerous center hydraulic message. [We] discussed that we were configured and had brakes available decided to continue and land; normal landing and braking but no nose steering. [We] had lost center hydraulic system. [We] notified tower and cleared runway; called maintenance for tow to gate.

Title: B777 Captain reports loss of Center Hydraulic System on short final with the aircraft fully configured for landing. A normal landing ensues and nosewheel steering is discovered to be inoperative. After clearing the runway a tow to the gate is provided by Maintenance.
