Narrative:
I got in touch with the aviation maintenance technician (amt) that performed the overnight check and he informed me that he wrote up the bird strike and informed management of this. Aircraft was in need of borescope per paperwork. Aircraft was merely run-up and signed-off without any further inspection.

Title: A Line Mechanic reports one of their aircraft had sustained a bird strike and the Mechanic performing the Overnight Check said he had informed management. Engine was merely run-up and signed-off. Required engine boroscope inspection was not performed.
