Narrative:
During a line check; master caution lights flashed and we experienced a right AC bus failure in flight. Ran associated checklists and returned to the departure airport. Maintenance just replaced the right AC generator. As we climbed into icing conditions we turned on the prop heat and the generator failed. We ran the checklist for the caution lights and decided not to continue with the defective aircraft. Contacted [the] company and returned to the departure airport.
