Narrative:
After application of takeoff power we received an ECAM warning at approximately 65 KIAS. We saw it was for a GPS 2 fault. At 70 KIAS the captain said he had the aircraft; and aborted the takeoff. I notified tower. We cleared the runway; after stopping the aircraft; we consulted the flight manual; contacted maintenance; dispatch and the flight duty manager. After deferring the system and obtaining a new maintenance release we departed with no further incident.
