Narrative:
The first officer discovered fuel leaking from a main wheel well. The captain told the first officer he was going to ignore the fuel leak as he did not want to loose the trip. They flew to and around the destination and returned to original departure airport. The crew dropped the airplane for another crew and failed to advise the new crew or maintenance of the fuel leak. The leak was obvious and certainly not normal. The leak was discovered by the new crew when it was called to their attention by line service as they taxied into parking. The fix required replacement of parts. The captain in question is a standards captain.
