Lost brakes after clearing runway. Brought aircraft to a stop using pneumatic brakes. Airport emergency equipment standing by. Callback conversation with reporter revealed following information. No damage to aircraft. Passengers deplaned normally after aircraft towed to gate. Changed to another aircraft and started trip again. Reporter doesn't know anyone who has had to use pneumatic system outside of the simulator. Nice to know it works.
