[We had a] foul chemical like smell throughout cabin starting while we were on a tarmac delay [which] increased on take off; decreased some inflight and increased again on descent. The smell caused the crew to become nauseated with headaches. Crew reported to cockpit and cockpit already reported to operations. Maintenance investigated on landing and the next flight was canceled.
