ATC issued radar vector. In trail of [an] A340 at FL360; [we] encountered wake turbulence; [which lasted for] 10-15 seconds. [I] disconnected [the] autopilot in order to fly out of it; resulting in approximately 100 ft altitude loss. Reported encounter with ATC; which resulted in a vector [to the] right in order to parallel traffic. Flight attendant injuries reported; all minor. Dispatch [was] notified.
