During cruise we lost both FMC's; autopilot; autothrottles; map displays and numerous other system items. After a few minutes we were able to restore all systems. During the event we drifted approximately 3-5 miles left of course. We advised dispatch; ATC; and maintenance. Maintenance said the aircraft had previous write ups about the FMC lost.
