Narrative:
During our preflight inspection we found the emergency overwing escape slide pins painted over. We assume this occurred when the aircraft was painted in the new livery. [Because this is a fleet wide project we should] have the entire fleet checked for compliance with the relevant and previously issued bulletins and engineering orders.

Title: An A320 Flight Crew discovered overwing emergency exit pins had been painted over in non-compliance with previously issued bulletins and engineering orders. Reporter cautioned the fault may be widespread as the entire fleet is undergoing repainting.
