Narrative:

Landed gear-up. There were no mechanical abnormalities. There were no injuries. Pilot failed to extend the gear for landing. This event occurred because the pilot neglected to preflight himself. What is sometimes taught is imsafe (illness; medication; stress; alcohol; fatigue; emotion). In this particular instance; a combination of fatigue and emotion created a large distraction during the approach and landing phase. The gear handle was moved down; but not completely down. The verification step was not performed adequately.
