Narrative:
The right alternator went out [and] after [that I] lost communication [radios]; [which] would not transmit or receive. Tried ATC [on] previously assigned and anticipated frequencies. Attempted contact with ATC on 121.5 and no contact; [so I] squawked 7600. I shut down the electrical system; switched voltage regulators; and turned power back on; tried ATC; no contact. Tried 121.5 and got in contact with center. Center handed off to approach [and I] continued flight to destination as scheduled. Contacted operations and maintenance upon landing.
