Narrative:
Approach control handed our aircraft off to sus tower while on high downwind. Our aircraft was cleared to land after contacting tower. Another plane on a wide base leg was issued a 360 to space behind us. While turning final approach tower controller issued traffic at our 12 O'clock position. The TCAS then issued an RA at which time we took evasive action to climb clear of traffic. Controller at same time issued go around instruction.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: Corporate jet experienced an TCAS RA while conducting a visual approach to SUS; apparently resulting from other pattern traffic issued a 360 degree turn by ATC for sequencing.
