Narrative:
After the airplane released from maintenance for the flight; the captain and I did a thorough preflight complied with aom and air carrier procedure. We took off on a scheduled flight. On climb out; the oil temperature was indicating high in yellow arc of engine #2. Pilot took the action by contacting approach control and requested to return back to the field. On base to final; captain noticed that the top cowling part of engine #1 became unlatch. The airplane landed safely and no body was hurt.

Title: A Dornier 228 crew completed a preflight together and after takeoff the right engine oil temperate was in the yellow band. As they were returning to land; the Captain saw the left engine cowling unlatched.
Narrative: After the airplane released from Maintenance for the flight; the Captain and I did a thorough preflight complied with AOM and air carrier procedure. We took off on a scheduled flight.
