Narrative:
On a GPS direct flight from cgz to rno; I accidentally passed through a restricted area controlled by nellis AFB. My GPS was scaled out too far to show the restricted area when I crossed it. I made the return trip using flight following and will do so in the future when I am in unfamiliar territory.
