Narrative:
Using autoplt for approach runway 9 cds approach lights were sighted at approximately 200'. Aircraft was aligned to the left side of runway. A correction was made to align aircraft with runway. It was determined aircraft was not properly aligned and would land too far down runway and go around was executed. It appeared left gear contacted runway. No abnormal indications were noted with engine indications or gear retractions. Another approach was made using B autoplt to a successful landing, with all engine reversers being normal. Upon arrival at gate, maintenance advised the #1 pod had contacted runway. Supplemental information from acn 97525. Aircraft cockpit indications showed all normal parameters.
