Narrative:
I completed the air carrier provided phase 2 FAA approved training and determined I was not adequately trained to carry out my duties per the fars as the PIC of my aircraft fleet. I asked my flight management for additional training and they refused my request so I am left with no alternative but to remove myself from flight duties. I simply do not feel proficient enough to carry out my duties and responsibilities having read a draft copy of a revised flight manual that is riddled with numerous errors; a cbt program that directs you to changes that can be found in this manual and a program that lists profile maneuver and SOP changes but doesn't afford you an opportunity to practice or perform these changes. The sheer volume of changes is too much to absorb thru reading or cbt lesson that lists many changes as 'additions.' I am left with tremendous pressure to find a way to support my family; but I will not waiver in my belief in the extraordinary responsibility I have for the safety of my crew and my passengers. I will not return to the flight deck until I receive adequate training. How this training ever got by our poi is a mystery.
