Narrative:
On final during practice ILS 35R approach, 'apa,' noticed another small aircraft Y at our 1 O'clock position, high, so executed a right turn to avoid conflict on final (small aircraft Y was turning to get back on final having overshot). Previous monitoring of radio communication indicated other small aircraft Y was experiencing difficulty in seeing us while on right base to 35R. 'Apa' tower had advised we were ahead and to their left.
