Narrative:

Level at 10;500 ft; I checked 2 of my 3 garmin GPS units for upper limits of R5311. Both GPS units showed 7;000 ft as upper limit. Flew through at 10;500 ft. Received a call on ground from fayetteville approach saying I went through restricted airspace. I told them what I thought was the upper limit and they said it was not the first time that has happened with people using garmin GPS. I rechecked on [my] garmins and still saw 7;000 as the upper limit. Controller was right in that R5311 has different areas within that do not show up at least easily on moving map.
