Narrative:

My flight attendant manual states that when we are playing a safety video am supposed to be near seats 13a/b. In the mean time there is nobody standing by doors 2L/right even though flight attendant eight is standing by row 28 right side; nobody is covering the doors in the back should an emergency occur. I know that procedure is done with minimum flight attendant crew on board. Now why don't we have two sets of procedures for a full complement of flight attendants on board where the number three & four stands in the back by the doors or near; while number five & six do the safety demo? These two flight attendants are already in that position when safety demo is playing. It makes no sense. With full complement of flight attendants on board these two back flight attendants should stand in the back. What will it take for this procedure to changed? I believe this procedure should be revised to accommodate a full staff of flight attendants on board a B767 to cover all doors.
