Narrative:

While flying downwind with my student; I was instructed to make a left 360 for spacing; while a few harriers were on final to land. Coming out of the 360 I noticed that one of the harriers were pointing directly at me and closing in fast. I took the controls of the aircraft added full power and started to pull up. I had gained 300 ft and allowed for the harrier to fly under me. At this point tower was saying traffic alert and was instructing the harrier to stop climbing. I was instructed to continue my left 360's and about fifteen minutes later was cleared to land.
