Narrative:
On taxi in; I opened the cockpit window to hold a flag out the window; the flag slipped out of my hand fell to the ground and went into the #1 engine. I was asked on taxi into the ramp to hold the flag out the window. I thought I had a good grip on it. After parking we did an inspection on the engine.
